Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Belleness.
The Belleness Platform
The Platform connects users with qualified therapists, counselors and coaches. These wellness professionals may be based in various regions and operate under the licensing and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.
Therapist & Counselor Qualifications
Certification and Licensing
- Must possess valid credentials as a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional within your jurisdiction.
Educational Background
- A graduate degree (MA, MS, MSW) or advanced doctoral qualifications (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related mental health field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of clinical experience or a minimum of 1,500 hours providing professional counseling services.
Professional Standards
- No record of disciplinary actions or sanctions within the past 10 years.
- Proof of active professional malpractice liability insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000/$3,000,000 or the equivalent for your country.
- Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and the use of evidence-based approaches in care.
Dedication to Accessibility
- A passion for delivering high-quality, affordable mental health care.
- Flexibility to provide virtual sessions or, where applicable, in-person services to accommodate diverse client preferences.
Technology Skills
- Competence in conducting secure online therapy sessions using reliable telehealth platforms.
- Access to a stable internet connection and appropriate technical equipment for virtual care delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements for Coaches
Certification and Training
- Must hold an accredited coaching certification (e.g., ICF, NBHWC, or an equivalent organization).
- Training in applicable coaching disciplines, such as life coaching, executive coaching, wellness coaching, or career coaching.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years or 500 hours of hands-on coaching experience.
- Demonstrated success in helping individuals or groups achieve personal or professional growth and goals.
Preferred Specializations
- Expertise in areas such as career advancement, wellness, leadership development, relationships, or personal growth (preferred but not mandatory).
Professional Memberships (Optional)
- Membership in reputable coaching organizations like the International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), or similar associations.
Ethical Standards
- Strong commitment to ethical coaching practices and adherence to guidelines set by recognized professional bodies.
Insurance Requirements
- Active professional liability insurance, aligned with country-specific standards, to ensure responsible practice.
Independent Work Capabilities
- Ability to manage an independent coaching practice without the need for supervision or mentoring.
Technology Proficiency
- Reliable internet connection and access to a private, professional environment for conducting virtual coaching sessions.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in English (proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish, is a valuable asset).
Independent Providers
Belleness.com acts as a facilitator and does not directly provide therapy services. The Therapists on the Platform are independent professionals, and Belleness.com is not responsible for the quality or outcomes of their services. If a Therapist is no longer available on the Platform, we will notify you and assist you in connecting with a new Therapist.
Limitations of the Platform
While the Platform strives to provide quality services, it is not suitable for all situations, such as crisis interventions, substance withdrawal, or eating disorders requiring in-person treatment. If you are experiencing an emergency or thinking of harming yourself or others, contact your local emergency services immediately. The Platform is not a substitute for in-person medical care or clinical evaluations.
Privacy and Security
Your privacy is a top priority. Information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All rights to the Platform, including content, logos, and design elements, belong to Belleness.com or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any materials is strictly prohibited.
Third-Party Content
The Platform may include links to third-party websites or services. Belleness.com does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of third-party entities.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Belleness.com is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including indirect or consequential damages.
Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Both parties waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits. Exceptions to arbitration include claims brought in small claims court and certain statutory claims.
Payment Terms
Users of the Belleness.com Platform are required to make full payment prior to each session. Sessions will only be confirmed and scheduled after the payment is successfully processed.
By submitting your payment, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that:
- Payment must be completed before accessing services.
- Any cancellations or rescheduling must comply with our cancellation policy, as outlined in this Agreement.
- Failure to pay before a session may result in the session being canceled or delayed.

Modifications and Interruptions
Belleness reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Platform at any time without prior notice. While we strive to ensure uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee consistent accessibility.

Governing Law and Final Provisions
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Belleness operates. Any disputes not resolved through arbitration will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of local courts. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
